ABOUT US
The World Carnival Commission (WCC) is a leading international organisation dedicated to the promotion and development of Caribbean-style carnival arts. With a mission to enhance the cultural, economic, and social impacts of carnivals globally, the WCC focuses on creating platforms for networking, advocacy, and professional development within the carnival community.
Founded by carnival visionaries, the WCC is committed to supporting the artistic and organisational aspects of carnivals. Our initiatives include organising international conferences, providing consultancy services, and fostering collaborations between carnival artists, organisers, and cultural institutions. We strive to ensure that the vibrant traditions of carnival are preserved, celebrated, and innovatively integrated into the fabric of communities worldwide.
Under the leadership of President Henry Antoine and CEO Pax Nindi FRSA, the WCC leverages decades of expertise and experience in the carnival sector to drive forward-thinking strategies and impactful projects. The commission’s activities span various regions, engaging with a diverse network of carnival practitioners and stakeholders to promote the sustainable growth and global recognition of carnival arts.
Join us at the forefront of the carnival movement as we continue to champion the business of carnival and support the artists and organizers who bring these spectacular celebrations to life. For more information, visit our website [insert website link] or contact us at [insert contact information].
