This landmark initiative expands upon the successful 3-day International Carnival Conferences previously held in South Africa, the UK, Montreal, Orlando, and Trinidad, directed by renowned international carnival consultant Pax Nindi FRSA under the leadership of World Carnival Commission (WCC) President Henry Antoine. For the first time, this expanded edition will be hosted at McGill University, one of Canada’s most prestigious institutions, adding to the excitement and significance of this global gathering.
Unique Opportunity This event is a unique opportunity to strengthen connections between African nations and the global Diaspora, spotlight artists on an international stage, and foster collaborations in culture, tourism, and heritage industries. With confirmed participation from Uganda, Ghana, Liberia, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and The Bahamas, we invite you to join this global celebration, highlighting its cultural contributions and leadership in cultural exchange.
The Schedule The week-long programme will feature a 3-day International Carnival Conference, exploring Carnival’s cultural influence, business potential, and role in global diplomacy. Attendees will engage in evening networking events with leaders from culture, tourism, and the arts, and experience a 2-day exhibition and cultural performances showcasing the artistry of African and Diaspora communities.
