Pax Nindi FRSA is a Zimbabwean-born, London-based international Carnival consultant, cultural strategist, broadcaster, musician, and speaker with over 40 years of experience in the creative and cultural industries.

A former Senior Officer at Arts Council England, Pax played a key role in cultural development and was involved in the creation of the National Carnival Arts Strategy. He is the Founder and CEO of Global Carnivalz and currently serves as CEO of the World Carnival Commission, working with partners across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, North America, and beyond to strengthen Carnival, festival, and cultural development initiatives.

Pax has contributed to Carnival and festival development internationally, including supporting initiatives linked to the growth of Black Star Carnival in Ghana and the World Junkanoo Festival. He is also the co-creator of the Carnival & Festival Lab, an award-winning programme developed in partnership with Continental Drifts that supports the next generation of Black and culturally diverse festival and event professionals.

As founder of Junkanew TV, Pax documents Carnival culture, creativity, and sustainability around the world through interviews, documentaries, and cultural programming.

A musician and recording artist performing as Harare Dread, Pax has toured internationally, released several recordings blending African roots and reggae influences, and recently produced and released a Calypso album celebrating Carnival culture and its global connections.

Through his work, Pax continues to champion Carnival as a powerful vehicle for cultural expression, community development, tourism, education, and international cultural exchange.
